Vintage Find

I've been thrifting and antique shopping since Thursday and have found some pretty cool items!  I don't always bring them into the hotel with me but this one I had to do research on immediately and keep my fingers crossed that I did the right thing by buying it!

Please excuse my photos!  I just could NOT figure out how to edit them on this computer!  So, you won't see any cropping going on in these.

The photos just don't do this justice.  It's a wonderful vintage brown with ivory background.  It's a Craftsman Carry All in metal.

It has charts on it like Lumber Data, Reference guides for table nails, wood screws, sheet metal screws, driver tips and a ruler across the top, this is one side.

On the other side are charts for wire sizes, sand paper guide, decimal equivalents, concrete mix and a ruler along the top.

It has slots down the sides for those oversized items.  I didn't see any of this, I saw it immediately with some potted geraniums, a great supply box for paints and yes, even for that man in your life.  The patent number on it was issued in 1956 so it was made some time after that.

What do you think?  Tell me what you would spend on it.

It is wonderful! If I was selling it I would have a minimum of $35.00 to $40.00 on it...

That is so cool Karen.
I have never seen one like it so I would put at least $50.00 on it or more, probably more. You always find the neatest stuff.
