Thrift Finds!

I have three owls and now a cat?  Not really sure what it is but how could I possibly pass it by?
They had a bunch of old clipboards and I just love them.  I only bought one small one though!
Couldn't resist this beauty.  I have a hard time passing up pressed glass when I find it, which isn't too often.  It was only .47 cents!
A lucky horseshoe ashtray.  Um.  It has holes in it that I assume are for some type of string or leather cord to hang it up.
Sure could use some help with these!  Have no clue what they are.  Do you?
They are pressed cardboard and have numbers on the backs.  I know there should be 12 of them but I'm missing number 2.
These were grouped together in a bag.  I could only see the first one but took a chance.  Now I'm not really sure what to do with them!  Only the first one, the gold one, is in decent shape, the rest have started to fall apart and become dust!  Can you image something you've made from these?
Aren't they beauties?  LOLOL!  Sell em, keep em, trash em?
And the bestest thing!  A Rolodex Jr.
Done in that industrial look.
That pebbled brown, which I don't see that often, usually it's a pebbled grey.
That's it for now!

More vintage finds

I know my one and only peep is waiting for the rest of my finds, so here they are!

How cute are these?  They are like miniature blow molds!  Poor things had strings tied tightly around their necks so they must have been hanging somewhere.

Five elf stocking holders in plastic.

This is HUGE!  Blue Heaven Chop Plate, it's 12 inches across!

A little owl made completely of seashells.

Federal Glass mixing bowl with sunflowers on it!  Such a cheerful pattern.  Almost makes me want to bake. Almost...

Two pieces of luggage in ivory.

Craftsman tool box.

If anyone has any information about this one, I'd like to hear it!  I guess it's a file cabinet but it very different from ones I've ever seen.  It's metal, the top lifts up and the door opens to shelves.

It's that wonderful industrial grey color!

Thrift Finds!

I haven't had the chance to show all the stuff I've been bringing home but I have three items that I must share!

First, I've seen cake savers before but I found this nifty pie saver!

I love using my vintage stuff so this was perfect for cookies for this weekend!

This next item intrigued me and I had to have it.

It's called a Baja case by Barnett & Jaffe.

It's a three drawer slide holder.

It's in amazing condition!  All the tabs are with it.

The drawers are Bakelite.

Each drawer is numbered along the sides to show the number of slides in the drawer.

This was just an added bonus:

A Vera Neumann scarf!

And it was only $1.00!
