More Trees!

I thought I was done.  Really I did.  I liked this look:

I like how these looked, but then I thought, I wonder how small I could make one!  And along came these:

I had to cut and bind these myself.  I cut the first one 4 x 5" from old school ruled exhibition paper.  It worked!  I got a cute smaller one, 5" tall,  um, wonder if I could go even smaller.  I took extra cuts from the first one and cut them down to 2 x 3" and bound those, let it dry and set off to fold all the little pages!  They aren't really as white as the photo looks, they have the same vintage look as the others.  Now I have a whole forest!

I hate to say it, but now I have yet another idea for them!  Stay tuned to see if it works.

A few things

This little fellow hung out for hours yesterday, I couldn't stop watching him.

I got 2 more Christmas decorations finished, they were harder to finish even though I thought they'd be so easy but honestly, they were boring to do.  Brown perforated paper and white floss.  BORING!

There's nothing like doing the stitching and then having to cut all around it.  Scary!  Could do all that work and with one snip, end up throwing it away because you cut something you shouldn't have!

This idea looked much better in my head!  LOL!

Either this is so lame it's cute or it's just plain ugly, I haven't decided yet.

After my little break from stitching, I'm going right back to it tonight!

Day Four - Mecation

It was a dark and dreary day but I decided to go out and visit an indoor flea market.  Much to my surprise, there were some dealers outside, too!  I enjoyed looking around but couldn't spend any money.  Went inside and same thing, didn't purchase one item and I tried, I really tried!

I left there and went to a co-op.  Again, really had trouble spending money!  A lot of the dealers were having sales, anywhere from 15% to 50% off but could I find one single item in any of them?  NO!  Then, I came across this one dealer that had so many items to go through, I was having a ball.  But guess what?  Nothing was on sale in this booth!  That's just my luck.  But just take a look at what I did get!

I love these!  Will anyone else though?  They were described on the tag as plastic ornaments with stuff inside them!  LOL!

Don't tell me you don't think these are about the cutest ever!  Love the snowman with the tree and candy cane.

Do these have a real name?  On the tag, glitter snowman.

I did get a discount on these:

Ah, purple calico buttons!  I'll keep any I don't have in my collection and sell the rest.
