Small time thrifting

I'm so tired of being locked up in my house!  I want to go out and do things so badly.
If it's not snowing or icing, it's too hard to shovel out!  I finally chipped my way out of the driveway yesterday but found it's still hard to get around.   Snow is piled up by stop signs that you can barely see to pull out, wet spots are still ice patches, so I didn't go far.  I went to the closest thrift shop to my house.
Here are my finds for the day.

This immediately reminded me of my friend, Peggy for some reason!  I had to look at it twice to "get" it!  It was too cute to pass up.

This bowl was in horrible condition!  It looked like it had been through a fire.  I scratched at the rim and was pretty sure I could fix it.  After all, I have my trusty Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!  I sure wish I would have taken a before photo!  Anyone know the name of the pattern on this?  It is Corning.

These three glasses just scream kitchen kitsch!
These are called Wallies.  I love these things!  They are actually pre-pasted wallpaper of objects that you can easily put on items.  I have a bunch of these that I used to decorate clay pots for my garden.

They are Noah's Ark and just wonderful!
Lastly, I came across 5 knives with Bakelite handles.

I found out my Magic Eraser can detect Bakelite!  :o)  These aren't anything great but I can't resist Bakelite items, especially when they are only .10 each!
I was only out for about an hour, but that hour was the best.  After all, it's been weeks since I went out thrifting.

Oh, you must have had cabin fever so bad!!! Glad you got out! The bowl looks like Pyrex Grecian to me. I use this site for identifying patterns: http://www.pyrexlove.com/vintage-pyrex-pattern-guide/
