Paper Bead Ring

Okay, so, this friend of mine (don't worry Jennie, I won't mention any names) suggests I make a wire wrapped ring using a paper bead. Well, I can't wire wrap to save my life, but I'll try. Um, maybe my hubby will help!

This is the result:

Pretty cool, huh? I had nothing to do with it, my hubby made it! When I asked if he'd make me another one, he ran from the room. *sigh*

More Paper Beads!

I made these from scrapbook paper called "Text Message". The words are pretty cool! Almost like an eyeball bender. I really had to look at some of them to figure out what they said.

Mary Engelbreit Paper Beads

These beads were made from Mary Engelbreit stationery and matching envelopes. I love the colors in these, they came out so nice. Shows Mary's signature fried egg flowers!

Pencil Beads

These are fun beads! I had this paper for some time and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it, then this came to me. You can make the pencil larger by adding center pieces to the eraser and point end. These would be great as earrings, too. One side the eraser and the other side the pencil point.

Dog toys

Do you think dogs plan these things out? I swear mine have a sense of humor! I woke up to this and am just not sure what to think about it! Is the cow modest? Copping a feel? He sure has a smile on his face.

Sunday Comic Paper Beads

I made these beads from the Sunday comics. I usually do the comics in oblong shapes but decided to try this shape and they are great! I heavily coat these so they look and feel like porcelain. And a lot of things showed up on these such as, Snoopy, Garfield, bunny slippers, Linus and more! I had a hard time parting with these, but I did end up listing them on Etsy.

My hubby says I'm a pack rat, well, look at what he came home with from the grocery store! But, honey, the salesman was just going to throw it away!

Debbie Mumm Checks

Added these to my Etsy shop today. They are made from old Debbie Mumm checks and possibly my very favorite things! Enlarge the photo to see some of the cute things that show up, like a bee, angel, star, heart etc.

New for 2009

These are the Patriotic Blue paper beads I added to Etsy this evening. Wire wrapped with gold, silver and copper wire, they would be great focal beads. Listed with others that are not wire wrapped and some oblong beads.

These are two new styles. Pillow on the left and 3 step on the right. Made from wallpaper, these paper beads come out really nice! I am pleased with how they worked up.
